Jing Fei was the favourite dancer of Jia Sidao as well as his love interest. She was close friends with Mei Lin and looked after her daughter, Ling-Ling once Mei Lin was forced to leave.
After visiting Mei Lin on her mission, she told Jia Sidao that her sister had killed Empress Chabi. Weeks later, Jia Sidao found out she lied, thus, she was forced to committed suicide.
